Dipalo River

A river that flows from the Caraballo Mountains, Dipalo River is San Quintin, Pangasinan’s upcoming tourist attraction. It is located at Barangay Nangapugan, San Quintin, Pangasinan. The local government is at the moment eyeing to improve infrastructure and develop its surrounding areas; hence for now, visitors should expect beauty in its rawest form. It is already a poplar hang out spot among locals though. Despite the rough roads, it is not uncommon to find here groups enjoying a picnic and a cool swim. The adventure-seeking ones follow the river upstream, where the hike eventually leads to several waterfalls. Since there are no official trails yet, tourists are advised to coordinate with the local tourism office if planning an excursion of the area.

The Dipalo falls have a rich biodiversity in which you can find different species of insects and plants. According to the mountaineers, when the sunshine struck the running water of the falls it creates crystal clear and it feels like you are in a sacred sanctuary and hidden paradise as described in the bible.


To reach and have a glance to the beauty of the Dipalo Falls you will have to surpass the rocky river and the grassy ways.
